Styled With Grace

We all have that one friend who seems to effortlessly know (and rock) the latest trends and styles. This girl has an eye for design, colours and standing out (without being over the top). For me, that friend is the lovely Terrene Conway and lucky for us, she has started blogging.

Whether it's fashion or home decor, Styled With Grace is about all things pretty. Although I wouldn't label it as a full out photo blog, I will say Styled With Grace is loaded with gorgeous images that make me feel über girly (always a good thing).

Terrene's blog is best enjoyed in a state of utter relaxation, so pour yourself a cup of tea and get lost in the realm of Grace.

Paper Crown

Back in 2005, I (and many other girls across North America) stumbled upon a TV show that no matter how bad or cheesy it got, we just couldn't help but become obsessed. Of course, I'm talking about none other than Laguna Beach.

Love her or hate her, Lauren Conrad, (better known as LC) has been hard at work since her departure from Laguna spinoff The Hills, writing books, creating a new reality show (which was famously dropped) and developing her fashion ventures. Her most recent venture being a new clothing line called Paper Crown. The Fashionista recently posted the complete look book for Paper Crown on their site, and I must say, the clothes are good!

The feel of Paper Crown is a lot of flowing fabrics for a comfortably pretty look.

No word on where the line will be sold (if at all in Canada?) but I am admittedly loving more than one of these ensembles! Below are a couple of looks that I am particularly fond of. Definitely check out the entire look book over at The Fashionista.

Chelsea Handler Cracks Me Up

This past weekend the always funny Chelsea Handler took her Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang tour to Vancouver. As expected, the evening was filled with dirty jokes, inappropriate language and some really loud laughs. I love this lady, I can't get enough. Seriously, I can't get enough. So you can imagine my disappointment when Chelsea only performed for a whopping 45 minutes! Come on girlfriend. These tickets were not cheap!

That being said, I still loved the show. Brad Wollack, who is also a writer for Chelsea Lately, was a hilarious opening act. I had seen him on Chelsea Lately before and was really looking forward to seeing him perform. He did not disappoint!

I have been a Handler fan since reading her first book My Horizontal Life years ago. With her fourth book set for release this spring, and a second TV show to debut next month, Chelsea is setting us up for many more laughs to come.

Burberry Spring/Summer 2011

Leather leather everywhere and not a drop to drink. Ok, that's not how the saying goes, but there IS a lot of leather going on in the Burberry S/S11 campaign and I am thirsty for it! I have been on the hunt for the perfect leather jacket for the past year now, and though the Burberry ones cost more than I make in an entire month, a girl can still dream, right?

Matthew Williamson

I almost forgot how much I loved the 2009 Matthew Williamson for H&M ad.

Jesse Eisenberg - Surprises Us All

While we're on the topic of last weekend's episode of Saturday Night Live, how impressive was Jesse Eisenberg? Seriously. I had seen him on Conan and his awkwardness was very uncomfortable to watch. When I heard he would be hosting SNL I wondered how he would do under pressure at a live taping; I assumed it would be painful to watch, but lucky for me, I was wrong.

Not only did he kill it, but he was so multi dimensional. I was under the impression that his Mark Zuckerberg portrayal for the Social Network was half Eisenberg simply playing himself. (Speaking of Zuckerberg, were you as shocked as I was at his guest appearance? Talk about good PR.)

He proved himself on SNL by playing everything from a pre-teen science enthusiast to a hunchback sidekick.
